Associate Terms & Conditions
Version 1 · updated 18 Oct 2026
These terms apply to every TEA Associate. The Telugu Entrepreneurs Association ("TEA") is a not-for-profit company licensed under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013.
1. Free, freelance role
- There is no fee to become or remain an associate.
- An associate is an independent freelancer, not an employee, agent or partner of TEA, and may not make promises or sign anything on TEA's behalf.
2. Money
- All membership fees are paid only to TEA's official bank account or UPI ID. Cash is not accepted.
- Associates must never collect money from members or prospects, in cash or to their own account. Doing so ends the appointment immediately and may be reported to the authorities.
3. Field Allowance and renewal incentive
- TEA pays a Field Allowance on the base fee (excluding GST) of each verified member payment credited to the associate, based on the lifetime referral count: referrals 1–50: 20%; referrals 51–100: 30%; referrals 101–200: 40%; referral 201 onwards: 50%.
- On verified renewals of members the associate introduced, TEA pays a flat 20% renewal incentive.
- Allowances are calculated monthly and paid to the associate's bank account or UPI after verification. TEA may withhold allowance on payments that are refunded, disputed or found irregular. Applicable taxes (including TDS) are deducted as required by law.
- Rates may be revised by TEA with notice; revisions apply to referrals verified after the change.
4. Conduct
- Describe TEA membership truthfully. Do not mislead, pressure or spam people.
- Protect members' personal data and use it only to help them with TEA (see the Privacy Policy).
- Use the TEA name and logo only as provided by TEA.
5. Suspension and ending
TEA may suspend or end an appointment for breach of these terms, misconduct or inactivity. The associate may resign at any time. Allowance already earned on verified payments remains payable unless the breach relates to those payments.
6. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction.
